Meet me.

I’m honored you’re here. On October 16th, 2018 I had my first manic episode, resulting in hospitalization. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, which was served to me with a dose of 6 days inpatient treatment and 11 weeks outpatient therapy - 5 days a week.

After years of working in the corporate world, I had just started to feel like I was attaining work-life balance at the start of 2018. Working remote as a Senior Business Outreach Manager for Yelp I’m constantly on the road speaking, and educating business owners on reputation management and the world of online reviews. Feeling successful, but having an unhealthy lifestyle of late nights and early mornings. Sleeping an average of 5 hours a night with 50% travel and an active social life.

Post diagnosis my health is in a much better place both physically and mentally. I now sleep 7-9 hours a night. I take on one task at a time, and set boundaries to maintain balance and preserve energy for when I really need it.

My Bipolar diagnosis has brought me balance. It has also brought fear, turmoil, failure, insecurity, love, passion, despair, harshness and intensity.

I’m here to tell my story. To step into my truth, and to slay stigma in the process. I am not Bipolar. I have, and actively manage Bipolar Disorder. And I am a strong, successful woman entering her 30s and loving where she’s at in life.
